Winter Activities

The Swiss alps are best known for the endless list of winter activities they offer. With snow based activities including skiing & snowboarding, night skiing, snow-shoeing, snow-kiting, and cross-country & ski-touring. There are also plenty of closer-to-home activities like ice skating, live concerts, and swimming pools to enjoy.

Why not explore the area during a paragliding flight or dance the night away during organised festivals like Rock The Pistes. All areas are totally family friendly with ski schools and kids clubs to make sure everyone is entertained.

Summer Activities

Even though the Swiss alps are known for their snow covered mountains and colder climate, summer in the alps can see temperatures rising to around 30 degrees.

This makes for plenty of summer activities for all the family, including mountain biking (World Cup downhill), hiking, Nordic-walking, rock climbing, paragliding, swimming, tennis, fishing, thermal parks, horse riding, canyoning, and adventure parks. There are also plenty of concerts & festivals held locally. The alps cater for all ages and interests, from extreme sports, to wine tasting and bird watching!
